Rock Art at Chaco Canyon

This is a petroglyph from Chaco Canyon, most likely that of a priest in the midst of a "spiritual journey" (i.e., getting high on hallucinogenic compounds, mushrooms and the like in order to communicate with the spiritual world). Intense sexual arousal and the illusion of size distortion of the limbs were common during these rites, hence the design of the figure.
